May started with everyone else taking a day off, but Garden? We kept shipping. And it paid off, we processed $235,553,949 in volume from 4,142 orders. Let's dig into what went down in the garden this month.

Remember when we doubled our swap limit from 5 BTC to 10 BTC in late April because over 10% of orders were maxing out? Well, 12 orders hit the new 10 BTC limit in May alone. That's $12,565,320 worth of "trust me bro, Garden can handle it" energy, representing over 5% of our total monthly volume. The whales aren't just visiting Garden anymore; they're moving in.

• Added support for three new chains this month: Starknet, Unichain, and Corn. Each integration brings more options for gardeners to move their Bitcoin around.

• Unichain's launch came with a twist. Marketing had this last-minute idea to offer free swaps for 24 hours, which pushed our launch back by a day, but the gamble paid off: $12.6M in volume within 24 hours, our highest single-chain daily volume ever.
• With orders and volume consistently hitting all-time highs, we're onboarding additional solvers to handle the increased demand and maintain our 30-second swap times.
• Non-EVM chains are coming to Garden. SVM support is currently undergoing audits and will be the first to go live. (You definitely didn't read this here. Legal is watching.)
• Notice the time/cost saved feature on swaps? It's been there, silently judging your previous bridging choices.

technical updates

• Expanded wallet support: Xverse, Kepler, and Phantom now live on the mainnet. Xverse and OKX added to testnet.
• Rewrote our Solver component in Rust. It's blazing fast, way more efficient, and currently getting battle-tested before we unleash it on production.
• Order search got better on the explorer. You can now find your swaps using transaction hash or wallet address, not just order ID.
• Launched affiliate fees so integration partners can earn from the swaps they facilitate through Garden. 

other cool stuff

• Added smooth animations for swap transitions and rolling numbers with NumberFlow. Your millions now move with style.
• Jaz joined Unichain's "You Can Just Build Things" podcast. If you missed it, grab popcorn and hit play.
• At Consensus 2025, Jaz took the stage to challenge Bitcoin's "digital gold" narrative. His take? Bitcoin's evolution from passive store of value to productive asset is inevitable, and interoperability is the catalyst making it happen.

• Bitcoin hit a new all-time high of $111,970 on May 22nd, 2025.
• 4,142 total orders in May = 138 daily reminders that people prefer 30-second swaps over... whatever else is out there.
