What started as a hackathon project back in August ‘23 is now the fastest-growing Bitcoin bridge in the game. Garden's lightning-fast swaps pulled in a wave of early adopters, and that was just the beginning.
With only one swap pair (BTC ⇔ WBTC) and a hint of marketing, we hit a massive milestone: $800 million in volume, while also becoming the largest Bitcoin bridge on Arbitrum in the process.
But Act 1 was just the setup… now it’s time for our defining act.

Our goal? Simple. We want Garden to be the spot for Bitcoin trading. Sure, a lot of traders go for CEXs to get liquidity, speed, and UX. But Act 2 is going to pull them back onchain.

The number one feature request? moar assets. We heard you. Act 2 is adding native swap support for stables and major assets like ETH and SOL. We’re keeping tabs on the top BTC pairs to bring you even more options.

Clicks, clicks, and more clicks… yeah, we weren’t fans either. So, we got rid of ‘em. With Act 2, swapping on Garden is a single-click experience.

We’re not just here to improve the UI; we’re going beyond. Imagine putting your BTC to use on Polymarket, Uniswap, or your favourite dApps. With the Garden SDK, integrating BTC into any dApp is dead simple.

We’re changing the staking game — in Act 2, rewards are switching to Bitcoin (as per community vote). Simply plant your SEED and grow BTC.
